This course expands students’ English language skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking through engaging, real-world contexts. Students will develop greater confidence in using English to express ideas, interact with media, and communicate in academic and community settings. The course builds on previous ESL knowledge and introduces more complex sentence structures, paragraph writing, and extended reading tasks. Learners will explore Canadian culture, identity, and literature through an inclusive and supportive asynchronous format. This course prepares students to transition into more advanced English courses and everyday communication in Canada.
